Bristol City Fan, 8-year-old Teddy scored 500 goals and raised over £1000 for charity
8-year-old Teddy has completed a charity challenge to score 500 goals for Gypanzees, which provides play and exercise services for you people with disabilities. Teddy first visited Gympanzees aged five and wanted to raise money for them in his own way.
Teddy’s mum said: ‘Teddy has worked hard to complete his challenge and has often had to keep going despite feeling exhausted after a busy day at school. At the beginning he struggled to kick the ball far enough into the goal – the challenge has really improved his skills.’
We decided to surprise Teddy at a local football tournament in Brislington with our giant flag, which he got to sign next to other legends like Peter Shilton, Tony Adams, Martin Keown and even the England manager Gareth Southgate.
